Conveyancing Assistant

I joined Mewies Solicitors in 1998 after leaving school.  I worked in the firm’s Accounts department for 15 years during which I gained my AAT qualifications.  This role was wide ranging and helped me gain a thorough understanding of many aspects of working in a busy law office.

In 2013 the opportunity arose for me to move in to the Conveyancing department and I jumped at the chance.  I now work as a Conveyancing assistant, providing support to the department on various matters from dealing with initial enquiries, to conducting Land Registry searches and more.

I enjoy meeting clients and always endeavour to be friendly and efficient, to try and make the whole process of moving home as stress-free as possible.
