Chartered Legal Executive
I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2012 and joined Mewies Solicitors in December 2016, having spent several years dealing with all types of residential conveyancing in a Leeds-based firm. I also previously acted for banks and building societies in rectifying titles where conveyancing solicitors had been negligent. This work was very interesting as it highlighted to me the many potential risk factors involved in buying a property. This experience makes me a far more vigilant lawyer in my current work.
I deal with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, leases, new builds and transfers of equity. I am very efficient and respond to all correspondence in a timely manner. I have a good relationship with all my clients and my aim is to make the conveyancing process as quick and as stress-free as possible. I am very friendly and approachable and I do what I say I am going to do.
I am originally from the North East but now live in nearby Ilkley. My hobbies include walking, going on holiday in my VW Campervan and all types of motorsport racing. I go to Silverstone every year to watch the Grand Prix and I also enjoy vintage motor racing.
