Leslie Emilie Tuck
I joined Mewies Solicitors in October 2015 from a Harrogate firm. I work closely with Director and Head of Private Client, Christopher Jackson.
I originally qualified as a lawyer in the United States in 1998 and practised as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to the UK and qualified as a Solicitor in 2005.
I manage a private client caseload and specialise in the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Wills. I also dealt with Court of Protection applications and handle Probate matters. I regularly speak to local organisations to explain the importance of LPAs and Wills, and the risks of what can happen if you do not have such documents in place.
I am known for my ability to impart complex information in an accessible way to my clients. I am personable and approachable and help my clients easily navigate matters which can be complicated or are laden with bureaucratic red tape.
I am married with two lovely children. In my spare time I like nothing more than to swim outdoors in local rivers – cold but invigorating! Every three years or so, I donate at least 10 inches of my hair to a charity which provides real hair wigs for children who suffer from medically related baldness.
Outstanding, Leslie was extremely efficient and made everything clear. Very impressed with the service provided and will definitely use again.
