Conveyancing Assistant

I joined Mewies in June 2019 as a Conveyancing Assistant, having worked for 14 years in a number of different law firms previously and also as a medical secretary for 2 and a half years in a local hospital. I assist with residential transactions from initial enquiries through to completion and post-completion work.

I am friendly, down to earth and develop good relationships with clients and third parties, updating them and trying to make the whole moving process less stressful, answering any questions that I am able to. I take pride in my work and my attention to detail; if a job’s worth doing it’s worth doing right!

In my spare time I enjoy walks with my husband, daughter and Maltese dog Larry, as well as plenty of socialising with friends, reading, baking (though I’m no Nigella) and going to gigs/concerts. I have also done a Skydive raising money for Cancer Support Yorkshire and a Gung-Ho Challenge, running (or shall we say light jogging)! around an assault course tackling rather large inflatable objects for Cancer Research. I plan on doing another skydive in the not too distant future!
