Getting there by car:

If you are coming to Skipton on the A6131 from Keighley (Keighley Road), you go past Skipton Hospital on your right, straight on at the traffic lights, past the Tesco garage on your left.  Go straight on at the next lights down a slight hill past some guest houses.  Towards the bottom of the hill on the left there is Cooperative Funeral Care and we are the next building on the left – a large detached old building with green and blue on white signage.  We are between Cooperative Funeral Care and a large church.  If you get to the little hump back bridge or the right turn to Sackville Street (where the cinema is) you have gone too far.

If you are coming from Otley/Ilkely, you will come in to Skipton on the main Otley Road.  Just after the police station (on your right) you will reach a mini roundabout.  Turn right on to Newmarket Street.  You will go past some shops, including John Phillip of Skipton and a Weatherspoons pub, both on your left.  You will come to another mini roundabout (which is at the bottom of the High Street).  Turn left at that roundabout.  Go straight on (past a pedestrian crossing) past the bus station on your right.  Go over the little hump back bridge and you will see a large church on your right.  We are immediately after the church (on the same side).

Please note that there is limited car parking to the side and around the back of Clifford House.

There is a space reserved as accessible parking in the rear car park, with access on the level via a footpath to the front door.  We have a wheelchair ramp which can be put in place if required.

Getting there by train:

There are regular trains to Skipton on the Settle to Carlisle line or on the Metro trains Airedale line (from Leeds/Bradford).  There are taxis outside the station entrance or it is approximately a 10 minute walk to Clifford House.  The most straight forward route is turn right out of the station on to Broughton Road, go past Morrisons and B&M.  Cross over Cavendish Street and carry straight on over a bridge over the canal (Bizzie Lizzie’s fish & chip shop on your left), and then past some shops (Sports Direct, the Post Office).  At the end of that row of shops turn right.  Walk past a few more shops and past the main Bus Station on your right.  Carry straight on, over the hump back bridge.  There is a large church on your right.  We are the next building on your right after the church.  Clifford House is a large old detached building slightly raised and set back from the road.
