Petena Parker

I joined Mewies in August 2026 and am an experienced family solicitor, having qualified in 2007. I was previously a Police Officer for 10 years and therefore have been working in the legal sector for some considerable time.

My experience has seen me observe the many changes in the Family Law arena and I am able to draw down on my knowledge, to assist clients with their cases, including the advocacy skills I have developed over the years.

I am honest, frank and fair which together with my knowledge and resources in the sector enable me to achieve the best outcomes for the client.

Irrespective of the value or circumstance of the case, I will ensure excellent representation and advice is given to all of my clients.

I believe that being fully involved in the community gives me access to the surrounding local resources. I have worked across the breadth of the country which has exposed me to many high net worth clients, including celebrities and sports personalities, as well as the “common Jo”, which is how I like to refer to myself.

I specialise in all aspects of private family law. I am able to offer consistency by walking side by side with my clients including representing them at court hearings. I offer the client a full continuity of a trusted legal advisor.
