Hilary Holder, a solicitor with over 6 years’ experience of dealing with residential conveyancing and other property matters has moved from a Blackburn firm to join long established Skipton firm, Mewies Solicitors.

Hilary, who lives in Clitheroe has now joined Director, Helen Akroyd’s growing Property Team at Mewies Solicitors in Skipton.  Hilary specialises in all areas of residential conveyancing including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, transfers of equity, remortgages, new build developments, Help to Buy Schemes, Right to Buy Schemes and land purchases.

Director Helen Akroyd said of Hilary’s appointment, “We are delighted to welcome Hilary to the practice.  She is an experienced residential conveyancing specialist and a I have no doubt that she will prove to be a real asset to the company.”

Hilary joins recent recruit, Solicitor Karl Pike who became a permanent member of the Family Team in the Autumn having worked for Mewies as a Locum Solicitor previously.  Karl, who lives in Harrogate, has over 25 years’ experience in all areas of family law, and specialises in dealing with financial arrangements after the breakdown of a relationship.
