Adrienne Patterson

I joined Mewies Solicitors in September 2019 as Practice Manager, having previously worked for a commercial law firm in the North East for nearly 20 years.  Prior to that I was the Legal Adviser for the North East region of the National Farmers Union.

My role with Mewies is varied and includes responsibility for compliance and risk management, including maintaining the firm’s Lexcel quality standard (the Law Society’s seal of approval for well managed law firms).

I am involved in recruitment and HR matters, and am also responsible for facilities management, ensuring that the office is well maintained and running efficiently, procuring services such as insurances, IT and utilities.

I am originally from Wigan in Lancashire but moved to Yorkshire in the 1980s to complete a law degree at Leeds University, and stayed!

In my spare time I enjoy the cinema (I am involved in running a local film club), gardening, travel and I am still a keen supporter of Wigan Rugby League.
