Lauren Williamson

Trainee Solicitor

I joined Mewies Solicitors in October 2025 as a Legal Assistant within the Family Department, following the completion of my Master’s Degree in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Leeds. Prior to this, I obtained an undergraduate degree in Law and Politics.

In April 2026, I commenced my training contract as a Trainee Solicitor. I am currently gaining experience within the Dispute Resolution Department, working on a diverse range of matters including Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Employment, and Property Disputes. As part of my training contract, I will complete further seats in the Private Client, Conveyancing, and Family Departments, allowing me to develop a well-rounded understanding of different areas of practice ahead of qualification.

I am committed to developing my legal expertise and look forward to qualifying as a Solicitor. I have a particular interest in building strong client relationships and providing clear, pragmatic, and high-quality legal advice tailored to individual needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, pilates, baking, and travelling, with a keen interest in exploring new countries and cultures.
